Oakgrove Community Centre was opened on the 30th of November 1997, by then Mayor of the City of Casey, Cr Wayne Smith.

The Centre has seen two extensions since it opened - the addition of a computer / meeting room in March 2003 and the addition of a multi-purpose room in October 2004. We have also recently completed works of a new front entrance to the centre, making access much easier for the disabled and for people with prams!
At Oakgrove, we continually strive to improve the Centre to meet the needs of our local communtiy and provide a facility that is not only useful, but also has an atmosphere of friendliness, safety, service provision and cleanliness
