Oakgrove Community Centre News Letter Term 4 2018

Welcome back as we commence Term 4, we hope that all families have enjoyed your spring holidays and already getting ready for the summer break.
It’s hard to believe that we are already into Term 4, the year seems to have raced past very quickly.
We hope that all our Pre-Kinder and Playgroup children have had a very enjoyable year with us and wish them all the best for their new adventures next year.
We had a smooth start at Kinder and Playgroup as we began Term 4 this week with most of the children having settled in quite well. Well done parents!
We run playgroup on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 9.30am to 11.30am and currently have spots available for Wednesday and Thursday group. The sessions are facilitated by Jenny, qualified Early Learning Educator and suitable for all those who might want their children to socialise while mums/carers develop new friendships.
We have some exciting new programs for children and adults this term. All parents are encouraged to have a look at our Website and Facebook page for updates about special events including School Holiday programs.

Quick Snapshot of Term 3

  • Oakgrove Staff invited our Pre-kinder and Playgroup families for an exciting Morning Tea for Father’s Day on Friday, 31st August. This was a massive treat for the children who enjoyed spending quality time with their Dads.  “Thank you” to Chris from Soccer Time Kids who kept the children, as well as the Dads, entertained.  We appreciate the effort and time taken by a lot of families  who were able to attend the Morning Tea and yummy food to share.
  • School Holiday programs were busy with children participating in the Meditation Workshop, Okie Dokie Dance Disco and Good Look Dance.

A very big "thank you" goes to all parents who have participated and supported us in Term 3.
We look forward to working together again this Term.
